BONES is punishing me for taking a week off from blogging, aren’t they?

I was on break this week (although my Feels sure weren’t), but Setsuken was kind enough to cover the episode for me. Click here for his full post on Anime Evo!

I did provide some livetweet commentary for this one, so just for funsies, I thought I’d chuck that up here for your enjoyment. Hit the jump and grab some syrup to put on these hottakes.

Things started innocently enough,

But they soon went awry.

Although there were magic penguins

and great moments with Hiyori’s friends,

there was also THIS INTERLOPER.

So despite that wonderful penguin,

and despite the fabulous interactions between Yato and Ebisu,

the place we ended was decidedly a dark one.

Fortunately, I had a boat trip along the Maui shore and a pod of jumping dolphins to cheer me up.

Episode 10 had darn well better see this story arc begin a nice upward curve. Noragami just feels wrong without our Trio all in one place, and I won’t have any dolphins to ease the pain next week.
