Podcast: Tokyo Godfathers Retrospective

A li’l present from us to you~

A mid-shot of three people - a middle-aged man with a thick beard, a short teenage girl holding a baby, and a tall middle-aged woman - wearing winter coats and hats. All three are looking directly at the camera with expressions of shock.

Highlights include: Everyone missing the hell out of Kon, a deep-dive into the film’s humanizing (albeit imperfect) focus on marginalized groups, unfortunate translations, and Hana handily stealing the show.
